Abstract
Energi gelombang dipertimbangkan sebagai salah satu teknologi energi terbarukan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami proses pengolahan data pemodelan energi gelombang serta mampu melakukan interpretasi terhadap hasil pengolahan data pemodelan energi gelombang di perairan Cirebon. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan yaitu metode sekunder menggunakan data angin 2009-2019 diperoleh dari National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Data gelombang 2009-2019 dari European Centre for Medium Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) dan data batimetri diperoleh dari The General Bathymetric Chart of The Oceans (GEBCO). Hasil dari pengolahan data pemodelan gelombang dapat digunakan untuk menentukan daerah yang berpotensi sebagai pembangkit listrik dengan pemanfaatan gelombang sebagai sumber energi terbarukan. Nilai RMSE yang didapat tergolong tinggi, dengan nilai RMSE paling rendah sebesar 0,326 pada bulan April dan tertinggi sebesar 1,181 pada bulan November. Potensi energi gelombang di Perairan Cirebon memiliki nilai rata-rata bulanan energi gelombang tertinggi sebesar 0, 131 kW/m pada bulan April, Mei dan Juni.
