BERDAGANG BUAH DURIAN KASONGAN : DEFINISI SOSIAL SEBAGAI TINDAKAN SOSIAL MENURUT MAX WEBER

Abstract

In the Beautiful City of Palangka Raya in November-February, many traders of the Kasongan Durian fruit have sprung up on the side of public roads. As in Jalan Yos Sudarso, Jalan Rajawali, Jalan Diponegoro, Jalan Tjilik Riwut, Jalan G Obos and around the traditional market of Palangka Raya. Fruit which is considered to have a distinctive taste and smell that stings the nose and at the same time the price per seed is quite high, of course, it will make the tongue of spiny fruit lovers spoiled. The number of traders in this research location is very large and tends to increase from time to time. This research was conducted with a qualitative method emphasizing more on the meaning of generalization, with the aim to find out the general characteristics of the Durongan Kasongan fruit trader which is correlated with social action theory according to Max Weber that humans can change meaning into a form of meaningful social action when the action is aimed at other people. The results showed that trading requires honesty, integrity, independence, fair competition, friendly factors and other factors such as first capital, trading location and sunny weather.
