Abstract

This research was motivated by the pre-cycle mathematics learning outcomes of class II students in the calculation operation material for the division of two numbers with a value below the KKM of 65 as much as 70% of the 30 students. This is because the learning process tends to use the lecture method. The research objective of learning improvement is to improve mathematics learning outcomes of the numerical division of numbers using two-digit counting using concrete object learning media for class II SDN Bendungan Hilir 01 students. The subjects in this study were class II students of SDN Bendungan Hilir 01 for the 2017-2018 school year. The research was conducted from February to March 2018. The study was conducted in three cycles of learning improvement. The learning improvement research was conducted in 3 cycles. The learning outcomes of students have increased in each cycle of learning improvement, in the pre-cycle an average value of 57.33 is obtained with 30% above the KKM, cycle 1 with an average value of 68.00 and 53% above the KKM, and cycle 2 with an average value of 70.33 and 67% above the KKM, cycle 3 with an average value of 75.67 and 77% above the KKM. Thus, the use of concrete object learning media can improve mathematics learning outcomes of the count operations material for dividing two numbers in grade II students of SDN Bendungan Hilir 01.
