Sempu strait is a relatively calm waters because it is covered by Sempu Island in the south so that it is widely used as a place for operation fleets or ports. The port across from Sempu Island is the Pondokdadap Beach Fishing Port. Pondokdadap Beach Fishing Port is located in Sendang Biru Hamlet, Tambakrejo Village, Sumbermanjing Wetan District, Malang Regency which is managed by UPT PPP Pondokdadap. UPT PPP Pondokdadap is an agency engaged in technical services for coastal fishing ports, business governance and services, administration and community services. In addition to being tasked with managing fishery activities, the agency also provides facilitied and infrastructure for students wo are conducting PKM activities. The existence of various forms of PKM activities will later provide knowledge that was not previously available in lectures.
