Abstract

In learning chemistry, physical activities is very important such as observing, asking, trying, presenting and creating. This physical activity can be realized by doing practical activities related to increasing students' abilities in entrepreneurial knowledge, attitudes and skills. Practical activities, especially chemistry practicums, are rarely carried out in schools, including at SMA Negeri 18 Medan. This is due to various reasons, one of them is inadequate tools and materials at school, during the covid-19 pandemic which makes students alternately study online and offline, which is also the reason why practicum is rarely done in learning. During this covid pandemic, creativity from the society is also needed to find additional income which can be started by growing it early, especially in the school. Creativity in making scented candles can be one of the ideas that can be taught among high school students. Scented candles have many benefits, one of which is to regulate moods because they contain fragrance ingredients that can be used as stress relievers, refreshing, relaxing and curing headaches. Making scented candles is also expected to be able to answer every problem that occurs in schools because it can be an alternative for students to practice chemistry, learn chemistry, increase creativity and entrepreneurial spirit in students and can relieve stress and anxiety when using it. The service activity by counceling of learning and practice of making scented candles is deemed necessary to be given to students and teachers to increase creativity and entrepreneurial spirit, especially to get additional income. The purpose of this service is to provide information about the benefits of scented candles and the manufacturing process for students and teachers of SMA Negeri 18 Medan.
