SMA Muhammadiyah is a Muhammadiyah charity that is under the Majlis of Primary and Secondary Education (Dikdasmen; which helps branch leaders to carry out tasks in the field of Education). The implementation of learning at Muhammadiyah High School is currently still through distance which is commonly referred to as PJJ (Distance Learning), the learning process is still carried out according to the curriculum set by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The Minister of Education and Culture quoted from news.detik.com Nadiem Makarim stated that online PJJ is a way of learning that is not ideally applied in Indonesia. There is a huge risk that is dangerous to the children of the pandemic generation. The biggest risk is that children in one generation will miss lessons. This risk will be felt in the years to come, when the cut off generation (cutting the learning phase) begins to grow up. As an effort to support the Ministry of Education and Culture in improving knowledge in writing skills, the Pegmas team together with LPPM Uhamka held community service for Muhammadiyah Jakarta High School students to improve their journalistic writing skills. Community service as a form of practicing the Tridarma of Higher Education.
